Bring your friends and family, pack your chairs and blankets, and join us this fall as the Levitt AMP Twentynine Palms Music Series returns to Freedom Plaza for five consecutive Saturday concerts, September 26 through October 24!

From Americana, folk, and country to jazz, R&B, soul, rock, world music, hip-hop, blues, and more, the fall lineup offers something different each Saturday night. Come early to explore downtown, grab a bite to eat, and settle in at Freedom Plaza as the sun goes down and the music starts.

Each Saturday, the music takes over Freedom Plaza, bringing two artists to the outdoor stage in the heart of downtown Twentynine Palms. The plaza opens at 6:00 p.m., with live music from 7:00–9:00 p.m. Admission is free, and all concerts are family-friendly.

2026 Fall Concert Lineup


Saturday, September 26 
Alice Howe & Freebo + CASSAZULU

The fall season opens with Alice Howe & Freebo, blending folk, rock, blues, and soul with harmony-driven songwriting. Freebo is best known for his decade performing and recording with Bonnie Raitt, while Alice Howe brings soulful vocals and roots-inspired songwriting to the nationally touring duo.

High Desert-based CASSAZULU opens the evening with a distinctive mix of English pop, Afrobeat influences, and harmonies rooted in the musical traditions of South Africa.
 

Saturday, October 3
The Kearns Family Band + Joshua Josué

High Desert sounds take center stage with The Kearns Family Band, the Landers-based husband-and-wife duo of Pat and Susan Kearns, blending high-desert folk, cosmic country, and narrative-driven songwriting.

Portland-based Joshua Josué, a self-described Chicano rocker, opens with a sound drawing from early rock & roll, Americana, Latin folk, and Chicano music history.
 

Saturday, October 10
Terrell Edwards + Hotel Mercy

Terrell Edwards brings classic jazz, R&B, soul, and storytelling to Freedom Plaza, drawing on a career that has included performing with Greg Adams and East Bay Soul and opening for Jay Leno at the Mirage in Las Vegas.

Opening the night is Hotel Mercy, formed by Gabriel Hart and Tim Paul Gray, with an expansive, cinematic sound that pushes beyond traditional punk and Americana.
 

Saturday, October 17
HuDost + Palo Xanto

Neo-folk world-rock duo HuDost brings a genre-crossing sound that weaves rock and pop with musical traditions ranging from Sufi and Balkan to Turkish and Arabic folk.

Yucca Valley-based Palo Xanto opens the evening with a High Desert sound shaped by hip-hop, classic rock, songwriting, electronic music, and experimental influences.
 

Saturday, October 24
Mark Taylor + Los Poncho Tones

The fall season closes with Nashville-based Mark Taylor, bringing a feel-good ’90s country sound to Twentynine Palms after sharing stages with artists including Lainey Wilson, Jon Pardi, Gary Allan, and Joe Nichols.

High Desert trio Los Poncho Tones opens with their self-described “greasy tumbleweed” sound, mixing swampy New Orleans rhythms and desert tones with blues, roots, rock, soul, funk, and psychedelia.

Join us this fall at Freedom Plaza, 6547 Freedom Way in downtown Twentynine Palms, for five Saturday evenings of free live music, September 26–October 24. Building Community Through Live Music

Twentynine Palms joined the Levitt network in 2026 as part of the Levitt Foundation’s 2026–2028 grant cycle, bringing three years of free outdoor concerts to Freedom Plaza. The Levitt AMP Music Series supports communities across the country in bringing people together through live music, activating public spaces, and expanding access to free concerts. In Twentynine Palms, the series is produced by the 29 Palms Music Series Committee, an affiliate of the nonprofit Basin Wide Foundation, with support from the City of Twentynine Palms, Visit 29 Palms, community sponsors, donors, and partners.
