Holiday Festival
December 3-4, 2024
The City of Twentynine Palms is excited to announce its annual Holiday Festival in Freedom Plaza. This magical evening will be filled with family-friendly activities, delicious food, and plenty of holiday cheer. The festival will feature a dazzling Light Parade, which will begin at 6 p.m. on December 3, illuminating the streets with festive floats, twinkling lights, and holiday spirit. Following the parade, attendees are invited to gather in the center of Freedom Plaza for the Tree Lighting Ceremony, a beloved tradition that brings the community together to mark the official start of the holiday season.
Throughout the evening, visitors will have the opportunity to take pictures with Santa Claus, making it the perfect chance for families to capture special holiday memories. Additionally, a variety of food vendors will be on-site, offering festive treats and savory delights for all to enjoy. As part of the Holiday Festival, don’t miss out on the two-day Holiday Market, running December 3-4 inside the Community Center at Freedom Plaza, where local artisans and vendors will be offering unique holiday gifts, crafts, and seasonal goods, perfect for checking off your holiday shopping list. This event is free and open to the public.

Get ready for a night of uproarious holiday fun as Rotating Players Improv brings Ho Ho Woah! to the stage! Join them on Saturday, December 7 for a special evening of quick wit, unpredictable antics, and holiday-themed laughter inspired by the classic TV show Whose Line Is It Anyway? — all to support the Morongo Basin’s newest mobile community theater, Inspiration's Edge.
This interactive, holiday-themed improv show promises everything form reindeer games to holiday mishaps, turning audience suggestions into hilarious scenes, sketches, and games. “Ho Ho Woah!” offers a unique blend of comedy, creativity, and holiday cheer, all wrapped up in a bow. Open to audiences 18+, this event also features a bar where guests can purchase beverages to keep spirits high throughout the show!

Santa Claus is coming to the 29 Palms Farmers Market! Catch Santa at the Inspiration's Edge booth during the 29 Palms Farmers Market on December 7 and December 21 from 9 a.m. to noon! Bring your cameras or phones to snap a festive photo with Santa! The suggested cost is $5, with a majority of the proceeds supporting Inspiration's Edge and its mission to bring theater and joy to our community. Let’s make memories and magic together!
Holiday Market at the Historic Plaza

Come celebrate the season at The Historic Plaza's first Holiday Market on Sunday, December 15! Featuring local makers, crafters, artists, designers, and vintage merchants, the event is a great place to enjoy a variety of festive activities with the whole family. There will be photos with Santa, a stocking giveaway for kids, delicious holiday treats, live music, a beer garden, and food by The Cactus bar, and a few fun surprises. (Did someone say snow?) This fun holiday event is 100% free, and is both family and pet friendly.
A One-Man Christmas Carol

Inspiration's Edge is thrilled to invite the public to a special holiday performance of Charles Dickens' timeless classic, A Christmas Carol.
In an impressive solo recital, actor John Ferris will bring this beloved tale to life, performing the entire story from memory and all the characters himself. Ferris' remarkable portrayal allows audiences to experience Ebenezer Scrooge’s transformative journey in an intimate and captivating way. In A Christmas Carol, the miserly Ebenezer Scrooge learns profound lessons on compassion, patience, and generosity and transforms from a man obsessed with wealth to someone who values love and connection.
