Event organizers, creatives, and community partners are invited to bring new experiences to Twentynine Palms through the Visit 29 Palms Sponsorship and Event Grant Program.
Designed to support events that engage the community and attract visitors, the program provides funding for both small-scale programming and larger destination events that showcase what makes Twentynine Palms unique.
The program is funded through the Twentynine Palms Tourism Business Improvement District (TBID), a 1.5% assessment generated from overnight stays at local hotels, motels, RV resorts, and vacation rentals and reinvested into tourism marketing and event development.
Event proposals are encouraged to build on the destination’s core pillars—Outdoor Recreation, Arts & Culture, Health & Wellness, Culinary Experiences, and Stargazing—while creating memorable experiences that inspire visitors to explore the region and stay overnight in Twentynine Palms.
Funding Opportunities for Events
The Visit 29 Palms Sponsorship & Event Grant Program offers two funding tiers designed to support a range of event concepts and experiences.
Event Sponsorships ($100 – $3,000)
Supporting smaller-scale events and community programming that align with Visit 29 Palms’ tourism goals and destination pillars.
Event Grants ($3,000 – $20,000)
Designed for larger events with strong potential to attract visitors and increase overnight stays, particularly during the city’s non-peak season.
Apply by April 1, 2026
Event organizers are invited to apply by April 1, 2026 for funding consideration for events scheduled July 1 through December 31, 2026.
