Established in 1938, The Virginian is a longtime, locally owned bar in the heart of downtown 29 Palms. Famous for their signature Bloody Mary’s with all the trimmings, friendly atmosphere and service, with a full bar, pool tables, and jukebox. Open seven days a week from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m.

The Cactus Bar in the city’s Historic Plaza has all of your favorite beers, wines, and cocktails, plus large screens for sports and a pool table. Enjoy a great assortment of starters and dips, salads, quesadillas and more. Open Tuesday through Sunday from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.

The Oasis Grille at Tortoise Rock Casino offers breakfast, appetizers and sides, soups, salads and a great selection of burgers, sandwiches, pizza and more. Open Monday through Thursday from 10:00am to 1:00am, and Friday and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and Sunday from 9:00am to 1:00am. (Must be 18 to enter Casino and Oasis Grille.)

Rustic roadhouse six miles east of downtown Twentynine Palms. Full bar, beer, wine, pool table, booths, food service, Sunday breakfast. Open Thursday from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm, Friday and Saturday from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm, and Sunday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. Dine-in and take-out.

Fans Sports Bar and Grill is the Morongo Basin’s fun and friendly sports bar and restaurant. Enjoy insanely good craft burgers, chicken sandwiches, wings, and more. Fan’s features 8 beers on tap, 50+ different bottled beers, spirits, specialty cocktails, and wine. Fan’s is local, family-owned, and independent. Play pool and shuffleboard at no cost. Whether it’s football, baseball, basketball, hockey, soccer, racing, or something else, with 11 big-screen TVs, your favorite sport will be on. Children are welcome until 9PM.
