Kids Pottery Wheel & Glaze Class (K-12)
From Wednesday through Friday, budding artists can practice pottery techniques in the Kids Pottery Wheel and Glaze Class (K-12) at the 29 Palms Creative Center and Gallery. Your mud-loving instructor, Gretchen Grunt, will be teaching everything necessary to throw clay on the pottery wheel, including how to make coils for handles, slabs for platters, pinch pots for animals, and decorative surfaces.
K-12 financial aid is available upon request through the Kids Art Grant Program. Supported in part by the Public Arts Advisory Committee from the City of Twentynine Palms, the 29 Palms Inn, and private donations.
Classes are offered most Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The cost is $45 per student. Check the schedule for class availability.
