Step Back in Time and Party Like It’s 1987 at our Pioneer Days Celebration!

This year marks the 87th Annual Pioneer Days in Twentynine Palms. When searching for a theme, we came across three instances of the number “87” that inspired us to choose “Party Like It’s 1987!” The first is that this is the 87th Annual Pioneer Days. The second is that the City of Twentynine Palms was incorporated on November 23, 1987. The third is U2’s Joshua Tree album, which was released in 1987 and features a photo of the band in front of the Harmony Motel sign in Twentynine Palms.

With a variety of exciting events including a carnival, parade, concerts in the park, Little Pioneers, Children’s Day, Outhouse Races, Old Timers Gathering, Wild West Hoedown, Kickball Tournament, Pancake Breakfast, Pet Parade, and more, this year’s Pioneer Days promises to be nostalgic and fun!
