The Twentynine Palms Historical Society is hosting a Not-A-Craft Fair Art Affair, this February 4!

Stop by between the hours of 10 AM – 5 PM and meet seventeen local artists and makers who will be showing off and selling their creative treasures. The art will range from metal, to fabric, and everything in between!

The event will be taking place in Founders Hall at The Old Schoolhouse Museum, located at 6760 National Park Drive in Twentynine Palms.

This is the first of several events and fundraisers the Twentynine Palms Historical Society has scheduled for 2023 – stay tuned for details of an afternoon tea in March, and the return of the Retro Bash in May/June.

Make it a Girls’ Night Out or Date Night!
Create a beautiful image as Janis Commentz demos techniques and tips to paint her colorful desert agave landscapes. Novice, to experienced painters, here’s a chance for the curious to try your hand while enjoying a fun event with friends. With hints about color and design, create a fun landscape to take home. Participants will be given tips on how to observe a landscape, create a small sketch to transfer to the larger canvas, acrylic paint basics, color mixing, and composition.

Enjoy hearty appetizers and festive beverages while enjoying the evening with friends… or your favorite date. All skill levels are welcome!

Dress code: Painting attire. Space is limited to 20, so register early! Supplies & materials included.
