Plan a visit to the City of 29 Palms Visitor Center to see the newly launched “Desert Contradictions” Art in Public Places exhibit, featuring the beautiful work of 19 local Morongo Basin artists!

From mixed media and photography, to found object assemblages and oil paintings, this new exhibition is stunningly diverse, with each artist responding in unique ways to the exhibit’s theme. Read artist bios and statements while touring the exhibit and immerse yourself in our community’s thriving art scene.

Administered by the City’s Public Arts Advisory Committee, these rotating art exhibits are open for public viewing seven days a week from 10 AM – 4 PM, at the City’s Visitor Center located at 73484 Twentynine Palms Hwy. The current Desert Contradictions exhibition opened on January 14, and runs through to March 31, 2023.
