The 29 Palms Art Gallery will host an art reception on Saturday, Jan 7, to celebrate the January exhibition. The gallery will be open all day, and reception hospitality will be served on the gallery patio from 4 to 6 p.m. The public is invited to attend and meet the artists. Admission is free.

Featured in the West Wing in January is a show entitled “Hope in Sight” by the Art Dialogue Group.  Emerging from a time of incubation, the Art Dialog Group has continued to diversify and grow artistically. The exhibit includes sculpture and large two-dimensional works by these twelve local artists, specifically work created as a positive response to our current world condition.

The East Gallery features abstract and manipulated photographs by Kathy Miller in a show titled “Creative Endeavors Inspired by Nature”.  Leaving behind a portrait photography business, Kathy, now of Joshua Tree, sought to find a different take on the world than her landscape-photographer husband and was inspired by the difference in vision found in sketching and painting, and then took her abstract nature photographs into Photoshop and Topaz to add another layer of creativity.

Artists’ Guild members will display a variety of new works in the Members Room this month.

The exhibition will be on display at the gallery January 5 to 29, open Thursday through Sunday, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The historic 29 Palms Art Gallery is located at 74055 Cottonwood Drive at the corner of National Park Drive, in Twentynine Palms, CA. For more information, visit
