City of 29 Palms Business Assistance Programs

Business Operations Assistance Program: Offers businesses the opportunity to submit for reimbursement of up to $5,000 for costs related to transitioning to outdoor business operations. Applications are due by December 21, 2020 and will be reviewed and approved on a first come first service basis while funding remains available.

Emergency Rental Assistance Program for Commercial Tenants: Offers rent assistance of up to $5,000 to help prevent eviction of commercial tenants financially impacted by COVID-19. Applications are due by December 21, 2020 and will be reviewed and approved on a first come first service basis while funding remains available.

San Bernardino County COVID-Compliant Business Partner Program

To support small, local businesses and to help ensure ongoing compliance with orders and direction from the California Department of Public Health and the San Bernardino County Department of Public Health, San Bernardino County has created a COVID Compliant Business Partner Program that offers partnership and support, and funding of up to $2,500 to reimburse or offset costs and impacts directly related to complying with COVID-19 related business protocols. The deadline to apply has now been extended to December 13, 2020.

San Bernardino County is currently offering COVID-19 testing at the Twentynine Palms Community Center, Monday through Friday, from 8:00am to 3:00pm. This is a walk-in testing location, and online appointments are required. The 29 Palms Community Center is located at 74325 Joe Davis Drive in Twentynine Palms, CA.
