Morongo Basin Transit Authority

The Morongo Basin Transit Authority is a public transportation agency serving Twentynine Palms and Morongo Basin Communities. With offices located 10 miles to the west in the village of Joshua Tree provides bus service to more than 20,000 riders per month. Its scheduled buses serve the City of Twentynine Palms, the Twentynine Palms Marine Base and from Twentynine Palms link to Joshua Tree, Yucca Valley, Landers and Palm Springs/Palm Desert. The Twentynine Palms Airport serves Twentynine Palms and San Bernardino County and is owned by the County Of San Bernardino. The airport has more than two runways. Runway 8/26 is a paved runway extending 5531 feet. Runway 17/35 is paved and 3800 feet. Both runways are and lighted.
